Best Transportation is the premier Intermodal Drayage Transportation Company located in The Port of NY/NJ, in Port Newark. We are currently seeking an experienced, initiative-taking Sales Executive to establish new accounts and grow our customer base.

The ideal candidate will have proven sales success within the Intermodal Trucking and Drayage market as well as strong skills in Lead Development, Sales Presentation, Account Closing, and Customer Relations.

The ideal candidate will:

• Proven sales employment work history in intermodal/drayage market
• Prospect and contact potential customers
• Ability to “close the deal” and acquire new accounts
• Bring to the table personal sales strategies, focused on identifying new business.
• Must be highly productive and self- motivated with a strong work ethic
• Must have solid interpersonal skills with the ability to work as part of a team as well as establishing and building new customer relationships
• The ability to travel within our sales region and cover the sales territory
• Includes inside sales and possible cold calling.

Requirements:

• 3+ years experience drayage/intermodal market
• Must have excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
• Skilled in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint applications.
• Strong negotiation skills
